Marshall Family Medicine
4201 Town Center Boulevard, Bldg D
El Dorado Hills, CA
The introduction of Marshall Medical to El Dorado Hills, this 25,000 SF family medicine building makes a bold statement that promises a high standard of care alongside a sense of community connection. Grigio collaborated primarily with the organization’s Public Information Officer, as well as the Executive Director of Philanthropy, to develop an art plan and budget that included the main lobby, the rehab gym, suite corridors, consult rooms, each exam room, and the staff area. Representing local artists was essential to the ethos of the organization, and despite the quick project timeline, Grigio facilitated a call to artists through the El Dorado Hills Arts Association to ensure that the community had an opportunity to submit work. Ten artists of various mediums and styles were selected and featured throughout the space, carefully curated to ensure that the project visually flowed from entry to exit.
Vibrant imagery with energy and movement for the entrance to the rehab gym.
A blend of pieces by local artists were curated throughout the space - including these giclees of Annie O’Connell’s tulip paintings and nature photography by Kenneth Mahar printed onto aluminum.
A small piece of athletic artwork over each rehab bed for inspiration.
A late donation that was framed and thoughtfully integrated into the space in time for the opening event.
Placerville artist Rebecca Roehr’s river scene at the staff entrance to the building.
Another beautiful photography print on aluminum by local artist Kenneth Mahar.
Smaller, more traditional landscape paintings by local artists (like this Tim Conway piece) were discovered through the El Dorado Hills Artists Association and placed in consult rooms.
In corridors, large reproductions of colorful, active prints on aluminum conserved budget for original local art elsewhere while complementing the accent paints and encouraging movement through the space.
